A HAT-TRICK from Daniel Rose capped a brilliant performance from Monkwood as they became the first Rawmarsh side to win the Totty Cup for 20 years with a win over Gooseacre.
Monkwood were scintilating at times and looked capable of dishing out a true mauling but found a resolute Gooseacre side who refused to roll over.
While a threatened comeback failed to fully materialise, Gooseacre certainly set nerves jangling in the Rawmarsh camp with two quick goals after the break. But Monkwood held their nerve to seal the win in fine style.
