Double Winners – Totty Cup & Barlow-Salmons

Keyan Yazigan Wath CofE played in the winning team of the Totty Cup 2016 and captained the winning team of Barlow/Salmons Shield 2017

Totty Cup 1995 & Barlow-Salmons 1996 : Wath Central – Mark Ashburn, Adam Ball, Joel Nicholson, Danny Lunn and Jamie Cocking (Ball, Lunn and Cocking netting in the 96 final.)

Double winner of the Barlow-Salmons in 1978 & the Totty Cup in 1979 – Paul Cheetham, Phil Green, Darren Foster, and Adrian Smelt

Double winners with Carrfield for Andy Mangham and Darren Scothern who won the Barlow-Salmons in 1977 and the Totty Cup in 1978

Carrfield’s Alex Steadman and Phil Taylor won the Barlow-Salmons in 1992 & the Totty Cup in 1994. Presumably they played in the 1993 Totty Cup final too? Three finals is a rare achievement.

Peter Gill won the Clarke Shield in 1963 & 1964 playing for Wath Central.


Two Finals

Harley Norris

Harley Norris 2015 & 2016 Harley won the Totty cup in 2015 scoring in every round including 2 in the final. Unfortunately lost in the final the following year, but still notched a brace in the final.

Shaun Daykin played for Thurnscoe Hill in the Totty Cup final 1979 and the Barlow-Salmons final in 1980

Stephen Bramham has two Don & Dearne medals having been an unused substitute for Rawmarsh Sandhill in 1975 and then won the Totty Cup in 1977.

Tyler Pugh played in the 2015 and 2016 Totty Cup finals with Lacewood Primary School. He was the goal keeper for the 2015 final and not sure what position he played in the 2016

Ashton Powney played in the 2018 and 2019 Totty Cup finals for Lacewood.

Brookfield Barlow-Salmons finals in 2003 & 2004 for all these players: Josh Wilcock, Brett Cooke, Adam Callis, Ryan Ardron, Jordan Scivens


John Powney played for Carrfield in 1993 & 1994 Totty Cup finals.

Mark McDonnell played for Highgate in the Barlow-Salmons finals of 1979 and 1980.

Lee Baker played in the 1980 Barlow Salmons final and the 1981 Totty Cup final for Thurnscoe Hill.
John Powney played for Carrfield in 1993 & 1994 Totty Cup finals.


Andy Ashley played for Carrfield in the 1993 Totty Cup defeat, then in the Totty Cup win in 1994,

Steve McDonnell, Paul Howard, Chris Chapman, Chris Kane, Jonathan Norris & Andrew Smith played for Highgate in the Barlow-Salmons finals of 1979 and 1980.

Mike Fox played in the Totty Cup finals of 1972 and 1974 for Wath Central.

Kevin Lester was one of 4 Brampton Ellis players who played in both the 2000 and the 2001 Totty Cup finals. The other 3 were Kurtis Senior , Chris Burns and Robert Lazenby. 


Player & Coach Double

Alex Steadman won the Totty Cup in 1994 with Carrfield as a player.

Alex then returned to Carrfield as a teacher before leading Thurnscoe Hill to the Totty Cup final in 2011.
