Mark Jones captained Darfield Foulstone to the Dearne Valley Shield in 1947.
There is a slim chance that Mark played in the Totty Cup final of 1945 as Darfield Foulstone lost to Wath Park Road. Mark would have only been 11 and the Totty Cup was for secondary students up until 1947.
Mark could well have played in the Totty Cup in 1946 but all we know is that Hoyland Kirk Balk won that final.
