55 years, 3 generations, 4 players and 6 Don & Dearne WINNERS!
The Law family will take some beating when it comes to success in Don & Dearne competitions.
It all started back in 1963 at Wath Central school, where Stephen Law won the Clarke Shield, although the final did take 3 matches to beat Carrfield.

Stephen’s son, James Law, went onto to win the same competition in 1991 with Bolton Heathergarth (by this time, it had changed name to the Barlow-Salmons).

James’ son, Jack Law, won the Totty Cup in 2013 AND the Barlow-Salmons Shield in 2014 with Bolton Carrfield.

Jack Law (2012 & 2013) Totty Cup Winner
James’s youngest son, Jimmy Law, won the Totty Cup in both 2017 and 2018 scoring in both finals for Carrfield. The 2018 final was the Battle of Bolton! A replay was needed at Dearnside school before Jimmy’s team could see off Lacewood.

Nine finals between them (including replays) and undefeated in each of them!
