Three generations played in the Totty Cup.
First David Findley in 1959 for Mexborough St. Johns in their Clarke Shield victory against Carrfield. The Clarke Shield evolved into the Barlow-Salmons.
David’s son-in-law, Martin Rouane & Martin’s brother, Alan played for Swinton Queen Street in the 1993 Barlow-Salmons winning team. Alan is on the back row – 4th from the left, Martin is far right of the front row.

In 1994 team (below) which would have played in the Totty Cup, Martin Rouane is the captain holding the ball.
Martin then coached the Swinton Queen team of 2023 that won the Centenary Totty Cup final after a replay against Goldthorpe Sacred Heart. Martin’s son, Seth, was in the team.
